Symptoms and Causes of Eye Infections

Eye Infections can be caused by bacteria, fungi, or viruses and can affect one or both eyes. Two of the most common eye infections – conjunctivitis and sty – are in fact caused by bacteria. Other common causes of eye infections, redness and swelling are viral, bacterial or fungal infection and allergy to environmental pollutants. In most cases, this leads to redness, itching, swelling, discharge, pain, or problems with vision.

Colloidal Silver Treatment for Eye Infection.

  • Itchiness and Irritation – Itchiness and irritation in the eye due to dust or other be treated easily by putting 1-2 drops of CS two times a day for 2-3 days (longer if needed). The eye will be noticeably better after only 1 treatment.
  • Sty – Put 2 drops of colloidal silver, twice a day on the sty for a couple days and it will heal quickly.
  • Pink Eye – Put a couple of drops of colloidal silver in the eyes every 30 minutes for relief from redness and pain.
  • Blurred Vision – Put 2-3 drops of CS in each eye and keep it shut for 10 seconds before blotting it dry with a clean tissue.
